The Huffman Prairie Chapter is dedicated to the spirit and enjoyment of aviation. Many of our members are building or have built their own airplanes and would be glad to have you come out and learn from their experiences and, maybe, start your own airplane project. We also conduct monthly meetings that, for the most part, support the home builder with educational talks and, where possible, hands on experience. Finally, not forgetting the future, we conduct a series of Young Eagles Rallies each summer that not only gives the children a free flight but provides them a basic education in the principals of flight and operations of an airplane.
We are based at the Greene County Lewis A. Jackson Regional Airport (I19). Unless otherwise shown on the Event Calendar, our monthly Activity Meetings are held the third Thursday of the month at 7:00PM in the airport terminal building.
